Only comments I would have is to maybe put an exact figure on the number of playable of characters in Fatal Fury Special (I think it's 15 or is it 16?) You did mention it was big but just so people know when reading the review. Because I think that was impressive for the time - having that many playable characters. I think anyway - I could be wrong. The other thing is that the AI is very very tough and also a bit cheap. That is the main thing I always notice when I play FFS compared to other games. I think it comes into it's own more in 2 Player mode tho. Anyway just some suggestions. You might not agree with them and the reviews are great as they are.

First off, your point about the scaling is great. I hadn't really thought about them wanting to show off their tech, but now that you mention, I'm sure that must be the reason. It just seems far too logical.
I had thought of mentioning the exact size of the roster, but since one of the pictures showed that anyway (minus Ryo, who isn't for tournament play anyway from my understanding), I decided against it in the end. As for the AI, you may be right, and should perhaps be mentioned. The game was certainly frustrating at times, but it never reached the level of Art of Fighting 2 absurdity (and I also wasn't sure if it was that I was simply awful at the game), so I neglected to mention it. I might have to revisit the review to see where I can insert that.
