I filmed a new video this morning, but my video editing software had automatically updated by itself, and it completely changed. It doesn’t work the same way the older version did, and when I add the M2TS file into the project pile and it auto converts it to AVI, it automatically stretches it out to be much longer than it should be, and the file properties falsely claim it to be at 100% when it is not. The file is around 4 minutes but when it adds it to the project, it stretches it out to 20 minutes! I tried to uninstall and reinstall in more than one way to try and get the old version back but it keeps updating it to the new version! This isn’t the same software I use for making AMV making, this is different software. The software in question was VideoPad Video Editor. The version I was using is a trial version which doesn’t let you export completed projects after the trial period is over. But it had a glitch in it. If you uninstall and reinstall it, you can re-use the trial version again. And when I uninstalled and reinstalled it recently to reset the timer, it automatically updated to the new version, and it keeps doing what it does by switching the raw source file out to 20 minutes or so. And I can’t get around this! And from the looks of it, I don’t know if I ever will. And that being said, I am looking for a substitute software that is free that I don’t have to pay money for because I barely have a dollar to my name, and most video editing software is ridiculously expensive. The software I use for AMV making was given to me by someone along with a serial number to access the full version years ago. It’s been a stressful enough weekend already and now this.
