As mentioned in the other thread, we put up an official Neo Geo Forever Discord server for our future chats or even VoiP discussions, if you are into that.

For those who never used Discord (like myself), simply open up the invitation link, accept the invitation link and get to the #general landing page.
We set up the server so our actual #text-chat and Voice Chat are private and only accessible after you were assigned a role by an admin or mod of the server.
Once you arrived on the #general section, a notification will pop up on the feed (something like "Murikov just landed"). At this point you won't be able to do anything at first, and one of the admins or mods will have assign you a role so you can enter the actual chats.
My suggestion:
Let's assign the Discord roles to the corresponding roles of this forum (administrator, moderator or member).
So far I have assigned myself, Merlin and Riko as Discord administrators and 2D as moderator (to see if it works).
Discord admins and also mods can assign roles to newcomers, so please if you see someone who arrived in the #general section, assign an according role to this person (by clicking on his name and assigning him one of the three roles). I will also try to check the #general lobby frequently.
At this point, please refrain from letting visitors in who aren't members on this forum. In doubt, just write a PM to one of the mods or admins.
Maybe we have to write a simple rules page on the Discord channel which elaborates on what I mentioned above? Other servers (like the official SNK Discord) did that similarly.
