I wanted to share this most likely unique Super Bubble Pop Variant with y'all. It is a "misprint" MVS cart of Neo Super Bubble Pop.
A few months ago I posted my copy of MVS Neo Super Bubble Pop. This was a version of Super Bubble Pop that had been given a "glow-up" by Neobitz and produced and sold by Piko Interactive. However, before I received the correct version I had been sent the "misprint" which had the original Super Bubble Pop, not the newer version. I had reached out to Piko Interactive and let them know and they were able to confirm that it was indeed and error in the manufacturing process and that they would get me the correct cart. The cherry on top was that they allowed me to keep the "misprint"!
Now the game Super Bubble Pop seems to be held in low regards, according to the internet, so I don't think it is necessarily valuable. But I think it is a neat thing to have. Below are some pictures of the two kits side by side and also a couple of pics of the cart in my MVS (inserted in slot 2) showing it playing the original Super Bubble Pop. The only differences I can tell between the two is that the box for the "misprint" doesn't have an identifying sticker and the game came in a clear plastic sleeve instead of a bubble wrap sleeve.
Side note: I was very satisfied with their customer service and their product so I would definitely vouch for their Neo Geo products if someone is on the fence about purchasing something from them. I say this only because I know in the Neo Geo world there can be uncertainty about purchasing these expensive carts and there are not a ton of reviews/experiences to provide insights into these niche companies.
