The World Series is just around the corner, and so our October Game of the Month is...

...Baseball Stars Color!

While the Neo Geo Pocket had a small handful of baseball games, this is easily the most recognizable given the popularity of the series on the Neo Geo and NES. So why not give it a try this month and see how it holds up to it's bigger brothers?

Not one I played this myself but looks like a cool little baseball game with colourful and clear graphics made for the small screen. The batters really look to be stressed at times with that sweat dripping off them! + some cool homerun and "out" animations too.

No idea why but it's still enjoyable. I'm a sucker for baseball games and this is a solid game with personality.

That was my assumption based on artwork used for "game of the month" tab on the right.
However, after playing the game itself, I think I was wrong.

Man I used to play a bunch of baseball video games when I was a kid and seeing this made me want to give this a go. Something about a portable little baseball game like this really appeals to me.
