Game series you love❤️

I'm also a Gauntlet fan jQ. Gauntlet II on the NES is the one I've put the most time into. Played that many times in two player mode with my brother. Was nice it also had a four player option using the NES Four Score.

Beret - I've heard it's really good. Keep intending to get that! I could be wrong about this but I'm sure I read it was made by a famous Japanese developer

Yakuza series was on my radar for ages, and only this year i finally started playing it - with an original first one, Yakuza on PS2.

It is, indeed, pretty amazing for what it does. Though i'm not sure if it's a good thing that recent entries in series are a bit "bloated" in game time - i finished Y1 in about 20 hrs, but i know that recent parts and remakes can take up to 60+ hours if you do side quests etc.

Yes, Gaunlet IV was developed by some Japanese programmers, I believe, in their free time. The publisher didn't want it to just look like a port though, so it ended up getting a phenomenal new soundtrack and the quest mode. I'm going on memory, though, so I can't guarantee that all to be correct (except about the soundtrack. Check it out!)

If you liked the first part, you're in for a lot more. Especially the third part, after the second part, I found a huge improvement in terms of graphics and size.

You can decide for yourself how many hours you put into the games. The main story takes the least amount of time in all of them (regular 20 hours). But it is precisely all activities and sidequests that provide the unique atmosphere, humor and variety. It would be a huge shame not to spend some time on that.

What baffles me too are the system requirements though - with my current rig I can apparently barely make it run. Also it's supposed to take 150 GB of disk space!
