Your top 5 video game consoles and video games of all time.

It has been a long time and I hope you all are doing well

Instead of making two threads, I will just make one, and ask you all, what is your top 5 video game console and video games of all time?

I will start


                                                                        My top 5 video game consoles:

1. PC ENGINE/CD - I like the CD games more than Hucard games, but Hucard has great shmups. Games like YS 1 & 2, YS 3, Castlevania, Rondo of Blood, Exile, Gate of Thunder, Lords of Thunder, Star Soldier series, Valis series and Neutopia 1 & 2 makes PC ENGINE my favourite system of all time

2. Sega Mega Drive/CD - Here as well, I like the CD games more than cartridge games, but some cartridge games are awesome as well. Game like Snatcher, Lunar, Popful mail, Keio Flying Squadron, Shining Force, Streets of Rage, Rocket Knight Adventures and Gunstar Heroes makes Sega Mega Drive my 2nd favourite system all time

3. Sony Playstation 1 - The system I grew up with, games like Tekken 3, Castlevania SOTN, Suikoden 1 & II, Syphon Filter, Final Fantasy games and Resident Evil games make Sony Playstation 1 my 3rd favourite system of all time

4. SNES - I am not a Nintendo fan, but SNES has good games, such as Chrono Trigger, Super Mario World, Secret of MANA, Shadowrun and Contra III makes SNES my 4th favourite system of all time.

5. Sega Saturn- This was really hard, it was between Neo - Geo or Sega Saturn, but I had to go with Sega Saturn, the console has great games, such as Nights into Dreams, Vampire Savior, Shining Force III and Guardian Heroes make Sega Saturn my 5th favourite system of all time.


                                                        
                                                                        My top 5 video games of all time:


1. Lunar: The Silver Star and Lunar: Eternal Blue (MEGA CD) and their remakes on PS1. My love for role-playing games started with these two games, and I am currently playing the first one now. You must navigate towns, fields and harsh environments to complete story - based objectives that move the plot forward, as well as interact with non-player characters to expand the script and gain various rewards.

2. Blazing Lazers ( PC ENGINE), this one needs no introduction, one of the most knowing, shoot em up, on PC engine. It has great music, intensity, and speed make this my 2nd favourite game of all time.

3. Castlevania, Symphony of The Night (PS1), I am pretty sure everybody on this forum have heard about Castlevania games, and some have seen the series on Netflix, the game and show is fantastic. The same can be said about this masterpiece, exploration, leveling up, and cool power ups just make SotN a bundle of joy. With plenty of secrets and being able to play as Richter, everything, save for a few small things, feels great in this game. Try this one out

4. Chrono Trigger (SNES), the game is a masterpiece, one of the greatest rpgs ever created. Some of you have probably played the game, it has great cast of characters, many secrets to discover, great turn based combat system, great graphics and multiple endings.   

5. Guardian Heroes ( Sega Saturn), The game is a 2D side - scrolling beat em up with beautiful graphics. The game has everything, multiple paths to conclude the story, and two extra if you are up to no good. Tough enemies and great bosses.
